When someone mentions the term skill games to me I immediately recollect The Crystal Maze T.V. show with Richard O'Brien running around the Maze with his bald beacon. Much like the games on the iconic T.V. show the skill games available on our website will have your adrenaline pumping and your hands shaking as the clock ticks down!
If you have ever played airport mania for the IPhone you will know what the deal is with Penguin Diner. There are also many other games, mainly paid premium ones might I add (such as Diner Dash) that are similar to Penguin Diner; if you haven't played any of these well prepare to play this game from start to finish.
Penguin Diner has a simple concept, you are a penguin serving other penguins in the diner, and you have to seat them, take their order, serve their order and collect the cash. Sounds simple and it is! With one exception when the customers start piling up and you have several penguins to serve at once it can get difficult to know who to seat, serve and take money from!
Much like the well known play station game guitar hero Super Crazy Guitar 2 is all about marrying your musical rhythm to a selection of songs available on the game.
Keys to press scroll along a horizontal band that runs across the screen, the keys scroll from right to left while a song plays along in the background. When the note passes a vertical strip you're given a short time period to press/hold the correct key. With each successful press a multiplier is increased meaning the more consecutive correct key presses the greater the points you score.
It makes for addictive game play and a good work out for your fingers. Definitely not a game for one fingered typists!
The sequel to the popular music catch, Music Catch 2 for me is the number one skill game but then who am I to argue with the Lunatic who has it ranked third in skill games and that's good enough for me.
Music Catch 2 is truly original and quite a change from your typical skill game. The object of the game is to catch musical notes that are swirling all over the screen. The music notes appear and fade sumptuously in time with classical symphonies.
The musical notes differ in colour with each yellow note making your catch cursor larger which in turn makes it easier to catch notes with. Red notes have the opposite effect making your cursor smaller, and purple notes suck all other point scoring notes into your cursor for a limited period of time adding more points to your score! Try not to fall asleep to the music it's that relaxing!
Bowman 2 differs from a lot of skill games in that it requires a great deal of patience. It is a game of discovery and for the first few plays much of your targeting comes from trial and error! In Bowman 2 you control a man and his bow; you can alter the arrows trajectory. There are several modes in the game where you can shoot birds, play against a computer bow man or play against a friend taking it in turns to fire shots at one another.
Hedgehog launch does exactly what it says on the tin, take one hedgehog, place him on a rubber band launch pad, pull the band back and watch him fly! It's essentially a fun game of luck where your hedgehog meets various objects in flight. Some objects give you points; others send your hedgehog higher and further through the sky!
After your launch is over you are assigned points that can then be used to upgrade your launch pad. Upgrades include increasing the height of your pad, the rubber band; you can even strap your hedgehog up to rocket launchers! The higher and the further your hedgehog goes the more points you'll have to spend which will lead to a more spectacular flight the next day. Hedgehog Launch gets a lot more interesting when you have the points to kit your launch pad out to the max!
