Created by Con Artists Productions and ArmorGames.com the last stand game is an engross 2d shooter from the ever popular zombie massacre range of flash games.
The aim of the game is very simple, you have to survive the on rush of zombies that are trying to break down your barracades and eat you alive.
'I finished the wall tonight, it should old them off for a while.'
'I hope.'
'Tomorrow I better look for survivors and something better to protect myself with.'
'I have to get through the night first.'
So on Night 1 you start out with a simple hand pistol to fend of the discusting blood thirsty zombies.
It's not much to hold off with but you should find its enough to begin with. The first zombie attack isn't exactly huge so you won't have to worry about getting up close and personal with them yet.
Tip: Head shots are the best way to dispose of zombies as quickly as possible. If you shoot at their bodies you will be there all night or until they break down your flimsy barricades for lunch!
So after Night 1 it's time to find some weapons, survivors and repair your barricades in Day 2. All three are important, i'd advise that you never put all your eggs in one basket as some levels simply will refuse you give you any of a particular one deliberately.
For example, if you put all your 12 hours of searching into finding weapons and you had only just found a new weapon on your last Night, then you may not be able to get any more weapons for a couple of Nights atleast, so it would be much wiser to split the 12 hours between repairing the barricade and looking for survivors.
Also pay attention to the weapon find-o-meter in the last stand game. It's located on the bottom right hand side of your notepad. When it's full you will have the best chance to find a weapon.
The Last Stand Night 2 is a lot harder, having to still cope with a pistol and being greeted by some very fat zombies your bullets soon get eaten up to little effect. Therefore be prepared to have to vigorously tap your mouse button to survive the Night.
I found that the survivor I had found from Day 1 had run off by the end of the Night and that the barricades were completely broken. I only just survived with the last zombie a whisker away from eating me alive!
By Day 3 you should have found the Revolver 357, your first weapon of power in the Last Stand game. It has a slow reloading time but it sure packs a punch and is far superior to your flimsy pistol!
Make sure you put it as your primary weapon in your inventory before you begin Night 3 or be prepared to be eaten alive!
With your new revolver you should find Night 3 to be much more pleasant and comfortable! I still had my whole barracade in tacked at the end of the round and my helper had not run off this time!
In Day 4 try searching for more survivors as you should be able to comfortably handle Night 4 with the revolver. This means you should now have two survivors for Night 4 to help you fend off the zombies.
By this point in the last stand game the zombies are becoming faster and more annoying than ever, with even a couple of zombie dogs chomping away at your barricades!
Day 5 will see you get your hands on the UMP 45! Select the UMP 45 as your primary weapon and the revolver as your backup weapon, then your good to go!
Night 5 should be a breeze with the UMP 45 and 2 survivors at hand.
Night 6 is more of the same with no survivors or weapons found during Day 6 if you have chosen to follow my route. I actually found Night 6 that little bit easier than Night 5.
Day 7 and it's time to find more weapons in preparation for Night 7. Guess what's in the store, the mean mother of all guns the Shotgun! With this baby it's time to let rip on Night 7. Or is it? I found the Shotgun to be totally underpowered in the Last Stand game.
Now the key for Night 7 is to still use the UMP 45 machine gun because the shotgun is no use against the number of zombies that come in the night and it won't actually be of any use throughout the whole game! I tried Night 7 using the shotgun a couple of times before realising that the UMP 45 machine gun is a much better choice than the shoutgun.
Day 8 and it's time for some major barricade repairs and to find a survivor or two! I chose to repair 80 percent of my barricade having had it all smashed down in Night 7. I also found one survivor using 4 hours of my time to search.
For Night 8 keep the UMP 45 out, the shotgun won't do you any good. Night 8 was extremely hard for me and I completed it after 10 goes of misery! However the game crashed after this and with there being no progress option I found it rather irritating to have to repeat every level again.
Never the less, i'm sure you will find the last stand an enjoyable shooting experience. Once you have completed the game why not move on to the last stand 2.
