The Fragger game mixes puzzle and skill elements to offer up a good hours worth of fun with the simple aim being to blow up some strange looking fat grey blokes with a limited amount of grenades. You could say that it's a sharp twist on the Ninjakiwis Bloons yet Fragger should still be thought of as a unique creation.

With crisp animation, easy game play and many challenging levels Fragger is easily worth a rating over 80%. One of the most pleasing parts of the game is the ease in which to control and throw grenades with one click of the mouse button. It most definitely improves on the Bloons method of throwing projectiles. With Bloons you have to hold the mouse button to gain power and then release to throw your dart where as in Fragger you simply guide the arrow to the correct direction and then select the power by setting the fill level inside the arrow.

Fragger's throwing method goes beyond ease of judgement though. The trouble with Bloons was if you missed your target your power bar would go back to zero making it very hard to judge your next throw. In Fragger your power bar remains intact so if you fail to hit the right spot with your grenade you can make a better judgement second time round.

There are plenty of challenges and well thought out courses to overcome to keep the most demanding of puzzle gamers satisfied, yet the puzzles are not so hard as to put off the more casual gamer who can lose patience rather quickly.

Some of the best features of the Fragger game include blowing objects across the screen in order to hit the fat grey blokes on the other and hurling grenades along obstacles courses and down narrow passages to blow up the more conniving hidden chaps.

Interesting Levels & Walkthroughs

Level 21 is a classic example of the above challenge and it took me a while to figure out how to blow up the sole fat guy although I did resist the temptation to cheat and consult a walkthrough. It seems today there's a walkthrough for almost every popular flash game!

Level 27 of Fragger requires a grenade be looped down a chimney which sets off a chain reaction of TNT blowing up the fat grey guy hiding on the top floor of the house.

Level 28 involves 3 grenade throws in a fairly simple order to complete the round. I like the first grenade toss best. You loop the grenade over the first building and down into the tunnel below to set off an almighty chain reaction!

Level 29 features more tricky fun with a chimney, drain pipes and concealed fat grey guys and involves some strategic thinking to prevail. You must figure out the order in which to throw your grenades down many pipes. If you can get past round on your first attempt you may well have an IQ rivalling Einstein!

Level 30 (the final round) requires perfect timing with your throws to complete. Don't ask me how but I managed to figure out the right way without knowing exactly what I was doing, if you catch my drift!

Enjoy playing the Fragger game at Games Lunatic.
