When farm vs. zombies or as it is officially known Plants vs. Zombies was released on to the PC by PopCap games it caused such a stir amoungst casual gamers due to its original and quirky concept. Afterall how many games do you know that combine zombies and monstrous but friendly plants together in a defense type game?
Starting off with a simple pea shooting plant your aim is to stop a few slow, festering zombies from getting past your garden and into your house (and we can I guess what happens then!). The pea shooting plant is as basic and ineffective as the standard zombie that attacks your farm in the first few levels. This is purposefully easy so you can get use to how to play the game, which doesn't take a degree in rocket science to do!
However this slow and easy type of level soon vanishes as the waves of zombies increase and the types of zombies intensify into crafty and outrageously funny specimens! You will soon have your hands full as you desperately attempt to plant the right quantity and type of plants to stop the zombies breaking down your farm defenses.
In Farm. Vs Zombies you will be pleasantly surprised by the level, plant and zombie variety which keeps the game fresh and exciting. Unlike many other casual games this zombie farm game doesn't get boring or give you more of the same as you progress but instead rewards you with more original and challenging moments which will leave you wanting more by the time you reach the final stage!
On a personal note I really liked the little shop of horrors plant that becomes available at an early time in the game and there's more fun plants like the chomper to choose from around every corner.
